Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, everyone, but I wanted you all to know that my dad lost his job a couple Fridays ago. Please keep him in your thoughts and wish him well in his search for a new job. If you feel compelled, I'm sure he'd appreciate a phone call.

Brad - I am so sorry to hear about your dad's job loss. My mom has been out of work since November. Several of our friends (one couple with a 1 year old little girl) have been out of work for 6 or more months.
I hope your dad and your family can keep your spirits up and that a new opportunity presents itself sooner rather than later. These things always have a way of working out. Think positively.
