I had just got home from watching the VP debate, and Palin's existence as a possible leader of this nation frightens me (she would be disastrous for the nation on the policies that matter) and disgusts me (that people take her seriously as a candidate and love her "folksy" ways). In my ideal nation, the newspapers would be filled with critical analysis of her inability to answer any questions with at least a passing reference to the essential content (of course, Biden danced around questions a bit, too, but any honest watcher has to admit that far more often he answered the question directly and did so with specifics). Also, I'm disgusted that a candidate for one of the highest positions in the world does not know the meaning of "Achilles's Heel."
I was just giving you a hard time. I knew what you were talking about. On a lighter note... have you guys been catching the FABULOUS SNL skits???? Tina Fey is priceless. For those of you at home playing a drinking game "maverick" (wink)
