Actually Adam our primary is on the 19th...the caucuses were on the 9th. Unfortunately the wa state democratic party does not allocate any delegates to its national convention based on the results of the presidential primary.Mainly Caucus results. Bummer i would have enjoyed participating in the Caucus system.
the republican party uses both the caucus and primary results.
It's too bad the democratic party didn't do a better job sharing that information. I think the reason we didn't hear much about the caucuses is b/c they're put on solely by the parties, while the primaries are staged by the State. Of course I must take some responsibilty upon myself.
So my vote didn't count, along with EVERYONE in my circle of friends. I don't need an apology. i am into Obama, but feel Clinton is right for the job. I am interested to see what she can do as president.
